They hit quickly with their single I Dont Want to Be a Freak (But I Cant Help Myself) from their 1979 LP Your Piece of the Rock. The next single, Ive Just Begun to Love, was their lone Top Ten R&B hit. Later Sylvers himself would join the group in addition to his producing chores at the label.
